Q: How do I navigate around the site?
A: The Timeline at the bottom shows months and dates where there are photos, articles and descriptions of a day in the Millennium Adventure. This also shows a Log of the trip to date.
Another way to navigate is via the Map at the upper left. Clicking on the squares and arrows on this map allows you to follow the route or zooms you in for more details. The countries on each area of the map are listed below it, along with all the and other features from each.
Q: I can't see all of the site, especially the part to the right. What should I do?
A: In order to see the part of the site that's off to the right, you just need to adjust your screen display. If you're on Windows, here's how to do it:
1. Click on the "Start" button on the gray bar at the bottom of your screen.
2. Click on "Settings" on the Start menu.
3. Click on "Control Panel" on the Settings menu. A new window will open up.
4. In the Control Panel window, click on "Display". A new window will open up.
5. In the Display window, click on the "Settings" tab.
6. On the Settings Tab, adjust the "Desktop Area" to "1024 x 768" (best wiew) or to "800 x 600" (adequate)
7. Click on "OK".
Your screen will now be able to show you the whole site. Depending on your system, you many need to restart your computer before this change will take effect.
Q: I can't hear the audio or see the video. What should I do?
A: The audio and video files on the Millennium Adventure site are optimized for RealAudio's G2 player. It's available for free from http://www.realaudio.com. There is also a G2 Plus for $30. It has more features, but you don't need it to hear Jim and Paige.
Q: Why can't I click on the dates on the Timeline?
Q: Some parts of the site are slow. What can I do to make it go faster?
A: Some of the files, such as the map, pictures and video, have to be large in order to be high-quality. After the first time you visit the site, it will go quicker, since your computer stores this information for faster future retreival.
Q: Why does it take so long to download the video?
A: We're posting video high resolution so you receive a better picture.
